Seven Doors

Terms of service

What you can expect from Seven Doors, and what we ask of you.

Draft · pending legal review. This is a plain-language draft. It describes how Seven Doors is built to work and will be reviewed before the app launches.

About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Seven Doors app or this website. By using them you agree to these terms. Questions: sevendoors.app@gmail.com.

What Seven Doors is, and is not

Seven Doors offers contemplative practice: short guided sessions, reflections and reading about meditation methods adapted from the Vijñāna Bhairava. It is not medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment, and it does not replace care from a qualified professional. If you have a physical or mental health condition, talk to a professional before starting a new practice.

Stop any practice that feels uncomfortable. Never practise while driving, operating machinery, or looking after someone who needs your attention.

Your account

You can use the app as a guest or sign in with Google. You are responsible for the device your account is on. You can delete your account at any time from the app.

Free and Premium

The first 7 sessions are free. Premium unlocks all 21 sessions and the full profile. Premium is sold through Google Play as a yearly plan, which includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, or a monthly plan. The price is shown in Google Play before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Google Play; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds follow Google Play’s policies. Deleting your Seven Doors account does not cancel a subscription.

Content

The practice scripts, explanations, recordings and visuals are original work for Seven Doors and are for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy or redistribute them. Sanskrit verses are our own transcription of the public-domain 1918 edition, with our own translations, and the voices are AI-generated. We may revise or withdraw a practice after review.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break into accounts or systems, overload the service, or access content or data that isn’t yours.

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.

Responsibility

We work to keep Seven Doors accurate and available, but the service is provided as it is, and we don’t promise particular results from practice. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Ending

You can stop using Seven Doors and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. The governing law and the operator’s details will be added after legal review.
